Our Story
We started Santolina Gardens in the pursuit of bringing native ecosystems to the urban world.
Gina Jackson grew up in the plains of North Dakota, started college in Oregon, and finished with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in Colorado. She gathered her knowledge of native plants while mountain biking the Cascade Mountains and studying plant ecology in the foothills of Fort Collins. She put down roots in Austin, TX, in 1998, and has been working in landscaping ever since. Gina started Santolina Gardens in 2002 to provide clients with ecologically-friendly outdoor spaces, imparting the peace that only nature can provide.
